F&I Works Support

(1) The first insurance file you should try is “Insurance Rates”.  Click on this link and when it asks what you want to do, select “Save”.  Save the file in C:\Program Files\Focus.

(2) Open MenuWorks, go to Menuworks, Setup and Configuration, All.

(3) Go to the Insurance Providers tab.

(4) Select the Advanced button.

(5) Click the yellow folder to browse.  It should be looking in C:\Program Files\Focus.  If it isn’t, browse to that location.

(6) Select the filed named insurance.rates.  Double click or click the Open button.

(7) Click the View Providers button.

(8) Scroll down the list to locate your new provider and click on it.

(9) After it is highlighted, click the import button.

(10) You should get a message saying the import was successful.

(11) You can now deactivate your old provider by highlighting it and putting a date in the Inactive field.
